  6. CallMan is an integrated phone dialer, logfile analyzer, and cost
  7. calculator.

  10. Most important changes since V1.0a:

  12. - device name, unit and serial speed are now configurable
  13. - reworked serial code; should now work with a lot more modems than
  14.   CallMan 1.0; if not, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
  15. - supports "OwnDevUnit.library"
  16. - user now can specify an (almost) unlimited number of modem logfiles
  17.   to be scanned; their individual costs will be summed up to the total
  18.   modem costs
  19. - new logfile scanners: NComm/Term, Multifax
  20. - database now sorted alphabetically
  21. - rates files now support additional costs for e.g. Internet charges
  22. - some bug fixes

  28. CallMan saves you the time looking for your adress book. CallMan allows
  29. you to save the essential informations (incl. phonenumber) on your
  30. friends/relatives/etc. in a (quite primitive) database. Using a modem
  31. connected to your Amiga you can now let CallMan dial up any of these
  32. persons. As soon as dialling has been completed the phone call will be
  33. passed on to your telephone. The most important informations on each phone
  34. call (date, time, duration, conversation partner) will be saved to a logfile.

  36. CallMan can later analyze this logfile. You can view a list of all phone
  37. calls, the total time of all calls, and their total costs. You can restrict
  38. the analysis to a certain timespan and to a certain conversation partner.

  40. Furthermore CallMan can switch to "TelephoneBill" mode, calculating the
  41. total costs of your phone calls within regular (free adjustable) intervals.
  42. As a bonus CallMan can analyze the ASCII logfiles of the TCP/IP stack MIAMI,
  43. the terminal programs NCOMM, TERM, the fax software MULTIFAX, and the BTX
  44. software MULTITERM/KIT. Their costs will be added to your total costs.
